We are looking for people who want to participate in bieng on a Unified Sports ( a branch of Special Olympics) basketball team. This is a team madeup of adults with and without intellectual disabilities (ID). We practice at Alexander Elemntary School on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 and our first competition will be on Februrary 11th. We need a ratio of three people with ID (athletes) to two people without ID (partners) and are short on partners. Please contact Tom Braverman if you are interested in being a part of this innagural team. More sports will follow in the coming months, so even if you cannot commit to the basketball team. we would gladly make you a part of future events.
