Prelude's Mission:  Dedicated to the possibilities of change and committed to enhancing quality of life through accessible behavioral health services.

Prelude Behavioral Services is a community-based, not-for-profit organization offering a safe environment for individuals to receive help in addressing a wide array of behavioral health concerns, including substance abuse, problem gambling, and mental health. Our primary service areas include Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Polk, Warren, and Washington counties. All services are completely confidential. At Prelude we believe addiction is progressive, chronic and potentially fatal. Alcoholism and other addictions affect every aspect of a person's life and well-being - physical, spiritual, vocational, social and emotional - and also have a significant impact on family, friends, co-workders,employers, and the community.
