What We Do
Johnson County Social Services: VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program provide tax preparation and filing for low to moderate income households. Volunteer tax preparers and greeters are vital to the success of this program. No experience necessary, but volunteers must pass the IRS certification. Training is provided at no cost. VITA clinics will be held at the Iowa City Public Library from January 31 - April 8, 2026.
