Hospice Office Assistant Volunteer

Support compassionate care behind the scenes by becoming a Hospice Office Assistant Volunteer with Suncrest Hospice. Office Assistant Volunteers help our hospice team with administrative tasks that allow staff to focus more time on caring for patients and families.


Volunteer responsibilities may include:

  • Assembling admission packets and informational materials

  • Filing and organizing documents

  • Preparing mailings and volunteer materials

  • Making copies, labeling, and light office organization

  • Assisting with special projects and events

  • Helping maintain a welcoming office environment


What you’ll provide

Office Assistant Volunteers provide valuable support that helps ensure patients and families receive timely, compassionate service. While this role does not involve direct patient care, it plays an important part in the overall hospice mission.


Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

  • Complete hospice volunteer training, background check, and onboarding requirements

  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in an office setting

  • Respectful of patient and organizational confidentiality
